eGovernment

e-Government (short for electronic government) is normally used to refer to the use of information and communication technology to provide and improve government services, transactions and interactions with citizens, businesses, and other arms of government.

We believe e-Government should be referred to as a market definition of “public sector marketing” with the following primary delivery models:

  1. Government to Government (G2G): online non-commercial interaction between Government organisations, departments, and authorities and other Government organisations, departments, and authorities
  2. Business to Government (B2G): networks that allow businesses to bid on government RFPs where public sector organisations post tenders and suppliers respond to them
  3. Government to Business (G2B): online non-commercial interaction between government and the commercial business sector; where businesses can get advice and information on doing business within the locality
  4. Government to Citizens (G2C): online non-commercial interaction between local and central Government and private individuals

We can help governments implement one or all of the delivery models and the objective will be to simplify government processes and widen access to government service offerings. Our service in this area is focused on governments (Federal, Regional and Local) that want fundamental changes included within their current governance processes.

Within each of the activities, our solution will be deployed using current and refined government strategies and will deliver these key activities:

  1. Pushing information over the Internet, e.g: regulatory services, general holidays, public hearing schedules, issue briefs, notifications, etc
  2. Two-way communications between the agency and the citizen, a business, or another government agency. In this model, users can engage in dialogue with agencies and post problems, comments, or requests to the agency.
  3. Conducting transactions, e.g: lodging tax returns, applying for services and grants.
  4. Governance, e.g: online polling, voting, and campaigning

Our expertise whilst working with public officers will ensure that the end result is a new e-governance support system which embraces business principles and models that emphasize strong customer service, less bureaucracy, value for the taxpayers' hard-earned money, a cost-effective system driven by technology and Web commerce that challenges the previous ways that governments did business with businesses, citizens and other government agencies.

Is your government doing business with businesses in an efficient and effective way?
